Psychologist Dr. Taryn Atlin works with teens and adults with a range of mood, anxiety, and personality disorders, using evidence based treatments such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical-Behaviour Therapy.
Dr. Atlin completed a Master’s degree at The University of Toronto and a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Ryerson University. She completed an APA accredited Pre-Doctoral Internship at McLean Hospital / Harvard Medical School.
Clinical rotations included The Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Institute, The Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder Clinic, with individuals dealing with psychosis and mood disorders.
She worked at The Behavioural Health Partial Program with clients with a range of debilitating mood, anxiety, and personality disorders, and in the 3 East Program with adolescents with self-endangering behaviors. She trained at The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health and St. Michael’s Hospital.
Dr. Atlin works with adolescents and adults using evidence-based treatments. Her primary treatment approaches include Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical-Behaviour Therapy. She is passionate about the research and treatment of insomnia and has worked extensively with client’s struggling with a range of sleep difficulties using CBT. She is experienced treating anxiety and mood disorders.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, exercising, cooking, and travelling..
