The Registered Dietitians at The Medical Station are dedicated to providing client-centred nutrition services.
What is a Registered Dietitian (RD)?
Registered Dietitians are health professionals with university education and post-graduate training in food and nutrition. The title Registered Dietitian (RD) can only be used by individuals who have earned a degree, completed practical training, and registered with a provincial regulatory body.
This title is protected by law and can only be used by a registered member. In Ontario, there are no regulatory standards associated with the title Nutritionist.
We specialize in counselling to help you achieve your nutrition goals. Working with individuals of all ages, we develop individual nutrition plans, track your progress, and support healthy behaviours for life.
Common areas of counselling include diabetes, heart disease, gastrointestinal conditions, eating disorders, meal planning, vegetarian/vegan diets, weight loss/gain, and sports nutrition.
