Emily is a Registered Dietitian (RD) who aims to help her clients at The Medical Station eat well for both pleasure and optimal health.
Emily's approach focuses on collaborating with clients to identify realistic health goals and supporting them in implementing their individualized nutrition plans.
As a food enthusiast, she endeavours to help clients achieve balance in their eating-related attitudes and behaviours – so they can enjoy their favourite treats as part of a healthy lifestyle.
Emily is a graduate of the Master of Public Health (Nutrition and Dietetics) program at the University of Toronto.
Her training included placements at a diabetes management centre and a community health centre.
Having special interests in the prevention and treatment of obesity and eating disorders, she has completed various professional development activities in these areas.
