Social Worker Lynn Adirim's approach to her work at The Medical Station in North York focuses on compassionate care for the whole family.
Lynn has 25 years of experience working with children, adults, couples and families. She completed her clinical Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Toronto and studied at the Institute of Child Study as well as Early Education at Harvard University.
Lynn has a special interest and extensive experience in weight management. She lectures on individual problematic relationships with food. To be successful in dealing with weight issues, Lynn knows that there is no such thing as a one size fits all. Rather, it must incorporate physical activity, nutrition, and a proper mindset.
By helping clients develop healthier strategies with eating, she has had great long term success.
By using System Therapy, and a Narrative Solution Focused Therapy approach, clients will benefit from using those modalities and will be better able to navigate successfully through the issues they confront.
Lynn has experience in grief work, bereavement, break-down in relationships, self-esteem and wellness.
